Here's the latest report, NOTE permission to repost reqmts at bottom:

BIG PICTURES TECHNOLOGIES (BPI:CDNX $4.50)

Coverage Initiated: Dec 17/99 $2.17 Website: bigpic.com

finance.yahoo.com

3 Blockbuster releases by Big Picture last week. I will put each one into perspective for your subscribers as to what they mean and which area they will be leading the company into.

1) ALLIANCE WITH SUMMEDIA

summedia.com

On the surface, it looks like an OK release BUT probing deeper into it one wonders what Michael Anthony's original motivation was into deal. Upon close examination we found this
biz.yahoo.com and confirmed it through our sources that it was what BPI was after. Go2net
go2net.com and hypermart.net has

OVER 800,000 small to Medium sized businesses which are all potential clients of BPI now. I would not discount a direct deal with go2net or Hypermart in the near future. This could mean a potential playing ground of up to $64 million US dollars of sales for Emerchant with a pricing of $80.00 and $200 million for Eclerk with a pricing of $250.00

Secondly , Big Picture is entering into International markets namely Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and Bali through SUmmedia. SUmmedia has over 200 employees !

2) BPI to ACQUIRE COOLLINK E-COMMERCE AND HOSTING BUSINES - This release is not yet on YAHOO QUOTES but here is the link to it from BPI's website bigpic.com

I DO NOT KNOW how BPI pulled off this one probably just the management's contacts. It is almost impossible for a Canadian company to buy a US ISP. Most opt for going public themselves in a IPO. This is almost like getting into an IPO through BPI for US folks especially those in the know of this deal.

Some key notes about Coollink : More than 100 employees and 200% growth PER MONTH and $6 million in revenues

3) FIRST QUARTER RESULTS

biz.yahoo.com

The release is self explanatory and one can see the tremendous growth in this company first hand from the year to year sales increase. We have yet to see the best to come with all the alliances they have been cultivating to date ! I cannot believe the market yawned at these numbers. BPI is investing in the key areas needed right now which is sales and marketing. Once over this hump, you can expect pure profit and strong bottom line because of the high margins (43%) in their business.
