Internet Plays -
I consider NITE probably the best play. They make boatloads of money of all the daytraders. This trend is not likely to disappear, even in a bear market.its a better play then any of the Internet brokers,IMHO. PE is less then 20 and a buy at less than 25$.
From the ISP's ELNK looks at least interesting.ELNK has 600M$ in cash and seems to get on the broadband wagon.I use them personally as a provider and they are fairly good.I believe the big ISP's like AOL and ELNK will survive after the free ISP have burned up their money. ELNK is worthwhile below 11$, IMHO.
I also start to like the portals, LCOS and ATHM.LCOS is probably the better play, but still a bit pricey at this point. With about 800M$ in cash they are not likely to crash and burn. 25$ would make a reasonable buy point,IMHO. ATHM is starting to become interesting too but obviously has problems now - 12$ look reasonable here.
Anyway, the internet is real but I would look for companies with good execution and reasonable PSR ratio and lots of cash. My buy points are perhaps too high for the crowd here but I tend to buy always a bit early.<G>

SM, See my note to Trindy above. I totally agree with you. The good internet companies, all six or so of them, have not come down nearly as much as the real garbage and they are still nowhere near a buy level. I expect to get all the ones I like in single digits.
