NEW YORK (BUSINESS WIRE) - Lexar Media today announced that it is the exclusive removable CompactFlash storage provider for Microsoft's (NSDQ: MSFT) Pocket PC launch event today at Grand Central Station in New York. Lexar's USB-enabled CompactFlash cards and included JumpShot USB cable are an ideal storage solution for the Pocket PC platform due to its ability to quickly and easily transfer large amounts of data between the Pocket PC and a desktop computer via the USB port, its solid-state durability and built-in data security features.
Lexar's USB-enabled CompactFlash cards can be used in a variety of storage applications that include Pocket PC devices and digital cameras. Lexar offers its CompactFlash cards in capacities up to 160MB for CompactFlash Type I and up to 256MB for CompactFlash Type II formats. Transfer Data Quickly and Easily

Lexar USB-enabled CompactFlash cards enable Pocket PC users to transfer a variety of data such as photos, MP3 and even video files between a desktop computer running a Microsoft Windows 98 or Windows 2000. Simply remove the USB-enabled digital film card from the Pocket PC, slip it in to the JumpShot cradle and plug the other end of the cable into the computer's USB port. The operating system immediately recognizes the CompactFlash card as another drive and the data files appear on the desktop. The files can then be transferred by dragging and dropping.
