President Clinton, who claims, "it depends on what the meaning of "is" is", does not even acknowledge the concept of "law" exists. Since anything goes, there are no fixed principles that can be codified into "law." Only mob rule, which exercised its will through the raid on Elian, can occur in this atmosphere. The Miami community was characterized as fanatics because through their life experiences, they are fully aware of the consequences of such government lawlessness and were unwilling to take part in it.
