Given EMC's announcement, I am a bit surprised that NTAP is up 9 at the moment. A simplistic thought is that the announcement further validates NAS technology and -- for those who view NTAP and EMC as competitors - NTAP's threat to EMC. Anyone have any better ideas? NTAP was oversold?

I think EMC needs a new PR person. This statement is minor league and an attempt to re-spin the truth, imo.

I like EMC, so I don't understand why this is seen as necessary in a PR piece.
