Larry Ellison is a very strong republican guy. So, I doubt that GWB's election will have anything to do with the trial. I think that the decision MUST be won in the courts and it will be. The judge is clearly biased and the justice dept doesn't know anything about competition in free economy. The higher courts will let us know who is right. The battle must be won completely by one side. This is for all the marbles...
