``We believe in the strength of our legal position, we will appeal Judge Jackson's conclusions, and we continue to believe absolutely that our position will be vindicated in the end,'' Ballmer told Reuters in an interview.

What is this, a pissing contest?

RE:I'm trying to remember those "stages of grief".

<First comes Denial. That's where all MSFT management still is. Next, I think, comes Bargaining. Acceptance is down the road. Somewhere in the middle is Anger.

It's hard to believe they are still saying "We did nothing wrong", and "We won't be broken up". This is Magical Thinking (it didn't happen because I didn't want it to happen). My 4-year old does all the time. I catch him stealing his brother's toys, and give him a time-out. Then I listen to him muttering to himself, "I didn't do it, I didn't do it, I didn't." What he means is, "I didn't want to get caught doing it".>

Take it to the Psychic Friends network, Jake. This is about a question of law - not your dubious layman's assessment of Ballmer's psyche.
