<< For example, you firmly contend that Juan Miguel, who has obvious affection for his children, would kill Elian instantly because of an order from Castro. >>

If Juan Miquel was given the choice between killing Elian, or being responsible for the rest of Juan's family in Cuba being murdered by Castro's goons in Cuba, Juan would probably choose to kill Elian. Elian was abandoned by his father, during Elian's greatest need. Which would Juan choose, the deaths of his family back in Cuba, or the death of a child that he abandoned? Which would you choose?

Castro, a cruel and vicious dictator, has absolute power and is a heartless murderer. He is capable of any atrocity, and has committed many. What do you think Castro is, a boy scout?

<< In your mind, all Cubans under Castro have become completely dehumanized so that any one of them is capable of killing a loved one. >>

I marvel how your mind dreams up these complex concepts, but cannot understand the simple, brute force concept of a ruthless and brutal leader having absolute power over his people.

<< What a despicable delusion >>

Your imagination is working overtime. Perhaps a little nap and you will feel a little calmer.

<< There is no Cuban "race", just as there are no Italian, Spanish or Taiwanese races. >>

It's very clever of you to deny that there is racial hatred against people that are different, by playing with the "race" word. Reality means little to you, as long as you can get your point across by manipulating the English language.

Almost everyone, but you, understands the concept of "racism" against the Cubans or Haitians or Jews or Mexicans, etc. It exists! Racism against Cuban people exists in this country. Do you think that you make the world a better place by denying the presence of racism?

I guess, by keeping a head-in-sand mentality, you can sleep easier at night, knowing that hatred against groups of people isn't "racism".
