<It's very clever of you to deny that there is racial hatred against people that are different, by playing with the "race" word>

What a flaming boor! In the English language one refers to a hatred based on nationality or some other common characteristic as "bigotry" or "prejudice"...not "racism". Just ask any child in grade school. Please don't respond on this issue, you'll look like an even bigger fool.

Furthermore, I never denied the existence of xenophobic bias. If fact I referred to you and your Hispanic-hating friends as "bigots".

What you cannot comprehend is how badly your worldview has gone askew because of associating with crud. When "most" of a person's friends exhibit radical prejudice, such as wishing "ALL of the Cubans would go back. They hate listening to the Spanish language", then that person runs with the wrong crowd.

Here's what you'd find astonishing about liberals and other people of compassion (including the many open-minded Republicans who support the reunion of Juan and Elian): Many of us have such a deeply ingrained hatred of prejudice that we pick "most" of our friends from those who feel likewise.

Perhaps this is why you cling to the imbecilic notion that Juan Miguel would become a child-murderer just because of a despot's say-so (from a wild earlier post of yours "If senile old Castro would order Juan to immediately kill his son, Elian would be dead right now.") The human spirit (even among the downtrodden and oppressed people that most of your friends hate so freely) is stronger than you can fathom. Juan Miguel, like fathers everywhere, would throw his own life away in an instance to protect his son from whomever or whatever threatened Elian. And yes, even when he knew his sacrifice to be in vain.

But among you and the other right wing goons, Juan Miguel is thought of as a ghoul without freewill....a zombie who follows a despot's bloody orders on command, without question or pause. Now that's prejudice, bub.
