Again, there is no need to insult me. What is up with that? I'm trying to have a serious discussion to learn more from you, and you insult me?

Anyhow, I can name a half dozen countries that have peacfully made the transition from communism to democracy/free market peacefully: Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Eastern Germany, Chezc Republic, Slovakia. Yes, there was some disruption around 1990 when these countries made their transitions, but there wasn't wide spread choas or civil war. It was a relatively peaceful transition.

Please state your case (without insults) about why you think post-Castro Cuba is destined to be another Balkan mess? I'm trying to learn something here. I'm open to hearing your views.

>A very large vacuum will be created by the death of Castro. These people have been pushed around by Castro for decades, who is going to push them around now?

It will not be the Cuban exiles, that's for sure. These guys are despised even more in Cuba than they are here...(I know I know, kind of hard to believe<g>)
