Sherry, anything but a Compaq. I have one and hate the system backup on the D: partition. Since it is on the same hard drive as the C: it provides no backup when your HD crashes. Even the Compaq laptops use this system. Gottfried

Looking at this week's best buy ad...they carry HP's Invent and Micron Millenia Max PIII 733/133 (PC mags editors choice as the "best power pc" as of the 12/1/99 issue). Looks like you've got a choice of HP...Micron...emachine....compaq and house brand?
