I don't think that in an educational setting these are our only options. We can certainly include texts that, if accepted as doctrine, are incompatible. Because the goal here is to become familiar with the ideas presented, not necessarily to accept or reject them. "Compare and contrast." Neutrality should be possible without it being decried as vague and meaningless.
But when you have people who've embraced "Those who are not for us are against us", neutralists become everybody's enemy. Alas.
