I don't see what the big deal about the 307 million bbl is. First of all it's 24.5 mil bbl lower than a year ago. More importantly, gasoline products are a dangerous 15.2 mil bbl lower than a year ago, and dropping for the last two weeks. Lastly, distillates are 31.8 mil bbl below a year ago.

all together, oil stocks are 124.6 million barrels, or 12%, lower than a year ago.

When refiners start making gasoline to replenish stocks, that extra oil will vanish.
