Gary - A lot of surprises on that list for me as well. I don't think I'd be able to recognize a single tune from some of the artists - Def Leppard, Guns N Roses, Bon Jovi, AC/DC, for example. I've heard of the groups, and I knew they had their moments of popularity but I had no idea they had sold as much. I'd have thought that Nirvana would have outsold all of them. And Boston? I had to do a search to find out what they sang, and I recognized More than a Feeling (never cared for it, but I guess the only reason I'd ever even heard it was that you couldn't escape it).
Another surprise was that the Beatles White Album was their best seller.
One of the things that jumps out is how few albums from before 1975 are on the list. Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and the Beatles are about it.
