One of the things that jumps out is how few albums from before 1975 are on the list

I figure demographics - incomes & spending are much higher today. That's one of the reasons I went with Shania yesterday instead of one of the older "crossover" female artists.

Don't spread this around but I kind of like Def Leppard. Back when music videos first caught on and MTV was actually watchable, I recall they were one of the premier groups. I couldn't tell you the name of any of their songs but I would probably recognize the music.

Well, I'm off to listen to the sounds of a little reggae and some steel drum music for awhile - if I don't hear "Hot, Hot, Hot" at least a dozen times next week, I'll be very disappointed, "Mon"! :)

Z and all....I'm curious to see if anyone can name this song? I'm not sure that it ever got heard anywhere other than the upstate NY area? Popular around 1966-67.

you know you're gonna get put down, you'll be pickin up broken eggs up off the ground

Otis Smith and the All Night Workers.
