It was noted on TV tonight in one of the discussion of this rights issue that it is the very Republican Senators that have championed bills expanding INS powers that are now making the most noise about their outrage at the basis under which the INS acted. The INS in fact has relied in some part on the expansion of their power to conduct searches for illegal aliens to conduct this rescue effort.

That is why I am a very unique form of "conservative". I fully agree with you on this issue, and believe me, it has angered some of my conservative friends who still fail to see the light and just want to go on and on with the arrests, seizures, killings, ruining of people's lives, seemingly, until the end of time! They are not going to win this war, unless they stop their violent tactics and work on a solution with more wisdom involved. (but they will not listen) Yogi
