Nixon supported and lied ..
Sorry Frank,
Nixon's not running this year, Get with the times. Who do we have to decide between? We have to vote for who's running and that leaves Bush Jr. , Gore, and a throwaway to Buchannan. So if you don't want the throwaway you have

1. Bush Jr. - front man for who knows who? Somone who would wreck the economy with risky tax cuts just as we are skating the edge of inflation pressures.

2. Gore - Eight more years of prosperity, Boy scout on morals, and we get to keep some green space and pay off the debt.

The choice is clear.

Time to return to integrity, commitment to ethics and leadership, stop appeasement of other leaders but work with solid statesmanlike but solid dealings.

Are you sure you aren't mixing GWB2 up with that guy the Christians keep expecting to Come Again?

Do you really think that one person is going to have that drastic an effect on the entrenched systems of American politics? I would expect some changes in direction, since the interests cashing in their campaign investments would be different ones, but I don't see Bush as the kind of individual that is going to transform American politics. I'm not sure any one person could do that.
