Marcos, it wasn't that particular message. Read back on his messages and there is an undertone reflecting some contempt for Christians. I could be wrong and if so, I apologize. In any event, he is certainly free to think as he will. I just wouldn't want to not be respectful to our Lord. Frank

Hi Marcos, One thing that has always bothered me is that we do not know why the mother left and what her desires were for her son. The family have claimed the father was abusive and the mother had fled from him to protect Elian. That of course could be an excuse, but I feel there is a very strong panic in this family of something terrible they know about that we in our naively do not understand. Is it just freedom in America or is there more? No one knows, but the strength of their concern should be considered, imo. Nancy
