I got home very late tonight and was stunned by the posted news.

Firstly there is the resignation by Doug Hickey. I met the man at PDAC held just a couple months ago in Toronto. He was the key figure both in presenting the project to others and working with PFN's geological people. He was a director of the company but appeared more in the British and Australian tradition as the Managing Director.

Next was the announcement of sale of Goldwright. That too is odd as I would have thought PFN would be the logical acquisitor. Again all very strange.

Perhaps all is well but I find these two news items very troubling. I found Hickey to be a practical, confidence inspiring person. He was credible!!! He also displayed a good sense of humor. I suspect he'll be badly missed.

This was definitely not good news to come home to.
