Re: I think the meeting was scheduled to start ay 730am PST, which was 5 minutes ago. Hope to hear something soon

Steve,
I'm hoping for a trading halt. Order imbalance, too many buyers. I can't imagine that big Jer would have not saved some great news. We'll see...

Steve,

Hope to hear something soon, and I believe Joe was going to attend.

I just got back from the shareholder meeting. The meeting was in the penthouse of a pretty fancy hotel on Fifth Avenue. The penthouse was 20th floor. Imagine my luck: I was going up in the elevator, the elevator stops on 18th floor and Jerry gets in with 2 other guys. I was a little star struck. I wasn't sure in the first second if it was Jerry. He said "Hello", because it was pretty obvious that I was going to the meeting. I said "Hello" back. Than the elevator stops, all 3 guys get off, and I get off too, only to realize that it was only the 19th floor (Where I guess Jerry had his room).

Anyway, I haven't been watching Letterman for some time, but he used to have this "Brush with greatness", where people discuss how they met famous people. I guess I would qualify.

I will get to the stuff from the meeting later. The most notable is that AMD is going to ask for an increase in the number of approved shares, and mailed another set of proxies shortly.

Speaking of proxies, CALPERS proposal was defeated.

Joe
