The XAU is indeed acting well in the face of a surging buck. But I have seen this kind of thing before. The XAU must CONTINUE to ignore bad news for some days or weeks before we can be reasonably sure that a big rally is coming up. One or two days will not cut it.

Shouldn't European business leaders would be concerned about the plunging Euro because it makes it much cheaper for American firms to acquire Euroland companies. Or don't they care anymore?
