Dave,

Now that I see your name, I thought of another comment from the meeting. Jerry was asked about TV advertising. He said he didn't think that was the right place to spend money. He said (exactly what I said in my reply to you) that AMD's customers are Compaq, HP, Gateway, IBM etc. He said that AMD will work with them. AMD has done very well in the consumer market without TV commercials (the market that the TV ads should influence)

Heh heh, I was surfing the Yahoo boards and I saw some posts about AMD - I followed a thread that ended in "TED WHO LOVES AMD & AREM"

That was my AMD pump on the AREM board...which by the way is a Cypriot software company that is going gangbusters and just came out with blowout earnings.

Several AREM longs have bought AMD do to my presentation and "advertising" of AMD....I know, I know, you are disappointed because it wasn't a TV spot.
