11th Circuit has denied all the requests by the Miami Relatives to see Elian, or to have "his" lawyer see him or a doctor of their choosing.

They only affirmed the previous order to maintain him on US soil.

Hianny is no more nor no less able to make a claim for asylum than Elian. They are both Cuban Nationals on US soil. If his father applies for all of them then it might well be granted.

Why heck the Miami Relatives could just as easily apply on his behalf too. They have just as much standing. (Not much.)

The fact remains that Juan Miguel is now the Father in charge. The hearing in May has just become moot.
