How many companies has Microsoft executed?

Let me get this straight. You believe that driving a competitor out of business via competition that may or may not be anticompetitive is a crime on par with the violent taking of person's life? This is the only way you can ask that question.

If you want to use that analogy then that would imply that "killing" another company in self defense would be OK. In that case "cutting off the air supply" of a company that publicly stated they intended to reduce you to a company that wrote printer drivers would seem to be justified.

Interestingly, since you seem to believe that these laws are parallel, where is Microsoft's equal protection under the law? They're being prosecuted for actions that everyone admits would be legal if they're not a monopoly. Using your analogy, Microsoft's competitors are allowed to beat and attempt to kill Microsoft while Microsoft is arrested and charged with crimes if they respond in kind.
