I don't suppose we could get you to add IMHO to your proclamations?
I accept that YOU think I was exploitative when I took baths with CW and Ammo, and that Michael sexually abused his 7 month old daughter when he took her into a tepid bath to lower her fever. I accept that you really have problems when we parents are deeply moved by the smell, the touch, the sight of our children, and that you really see this poor, provincial, probably ill-educated grandmother (thrust suddenly into a situation way stranger than anything she's ever encountered and not realizing that America was waiting to sit in judgment on her poor efforts at relating with her grandson) as a very psychosexually deviant individual acting out her compulsions on national TV.
(Had my mother-in-law ever done that to my boys, she would have been summarily shown the exit, I assure you, See? I'm not entirely decadent)

YOu have a good heart, Lorrie, of that I am sure, and I like you. But you really need to understand that not all physical manifestations between parents and children are fraught with evil and abuse. Frankly, I'm not sure you are capable, for whatever reasons, of distinguishing healthy from not.

I asked AMmo this morning if he remembered taking a bath with his father or me when he had chicken pox and he couldn't. I said, well does it embarrass you? He said well, how old I was I? I said oh 1 1/2- 2...
He laughed and said he thought it was very nice of us to take the time.
