Jenna, I have been only daytrading now - actually scalping, barely even holding overnight....keeping cash available. That says a lot about this market. I always held my favorites through thick and thin with very loose or no stops. I would much rather position and swing trade than daytrade with tight stops that get constantly taken out due to the volatility.
Unfortunately I think it is here to stay until we all forget the recent pain we endured.

Biotechs: MEDX and MYGN. Shorting.. sure I'll be shorting any unusual spikes on earnings gap ups tomorrow. I find that shorts up to 3 days are my limit and I do well with them. MYGN, another favorite has done well in down markets and up lately, but as volume is drying up, it might be a good short tomorrow. MEDX a "siamese twin' to MYGN looks like it might actually move up while CRGN is also due for a bounce. There are possibilities but I would only play those I'm familiar with and these posted come under that category. REGN had a nice intraday bounce today and could also go either way. Its been giving good daytrades (watched them but didn't trade them) and if it breaks 27 tomorrow, it could move up more as well. GLGC is another one I would be watching like a hawk. It tries hard but it was ABSC that was good for two days so GLGC might play 'catch up'.. CELG is a hold and like ELN, and TEVA I got back in after a short correction and hope to stay in.

PLUG which I just came from a 4 day short there but did not reverse and go long just went flat when I went out of town, a shame. Might be another shorting opportunity there as well. I did mention PLUG on Wednesday in the Pristine trading room after I covered my 3 day short on 4/24 and hope someone there jumped on today.
