Friday's News Release, for Rock Resources. Just one thing first, and I will post the link for the thread. I could not figure out why! you asked "Do you know what the word 'float' means"

I reread my post today and realized I really screwed it up. I made a mistake to call the 48-68 million shares "The Float" I find it is not good for me to post to SI, when I am running on four hours sleep each night all week. I actually was wanting to know why and if it mattered that the number of "Shares Issued" had been increasing, but being tired, I mixed up my words.

Thanks for straightening things out for me Chief, I shoulda never woke up that day, but you did give me some answers, I just screwed up the questions.

Here is the News Release for any RKR followers, Options are issued, and one thing I was wondering, would they be for employees only?

Mr. Thomas Kennedy reports
Further to the Canadian Venture Exchange notice dated April 7, 2000, management has closed its private placement declared on Jan. 25, 2000, for 500,000 units at a price of 50 cents per unit providing gross proceeds of $250,000 Cdn, each unit comprising one common share and one two-year warrant entitling the holder to purchase one additional common share at the price of 50 cents per share during the two-year period. The securities issued will bear a hold period of four months (hold period expires May 25, 2000) and the warrants will expire on Jan. 25, 2002. The proceeds of the financing will be used for continuing exploration on Rock's copper/gold project in Chile. There were no finder's fees applicable to this private placement.
Subject to the approval of the Canadian Venture Exchange, the company has granted incentive stock options in the amount of 1.2 million shares, exercisable on or before April 28, 2005, at a price of 60 cents per share.

Chief, seeing Tom classifies you as a friend, maybe you could clarify with him, on whether we have first rights to the extended property or we have options to purchase this property, as you had pointed out on Stockhouse with the NR. Stockhouse is not working today (I can't get on, anyway). I am sure many of us follow this forum as well. Looking forward to what he has to tell you.It can get right down confusing if Tom is saying one thing at these shows, and implying another on a NR. TIA
