I guess you would be sort of SEC "pump and dump" fugitive? I don't know what you mean by this, but it appears to be a slur. It's unkind and unwarranted. I've never taken a position in any stock TGR has recommended and the only disagreement I've had before now is his backing of Terayon, a company rife with questionable business dealings. However, when I find such vast differences between hype and reality, I speak out. Some times I look for statistics and stumble onto skeletons. When I noticed Gilder, Gagnon, and Howe were the largest institutional investors in AVNX, I did a few quick searches to see if there were any connections to GG. I found huge donations to political campaigns, including Steve Forbes and Newt Gingrich, but it was GG who said he knew the company, had visited them as guest speaker, and "may have mentioned Avanex at the time."
