Congratulations on succeeding in the restaurant business. My high school career as a waiter at several places cured me of any desire ever to work in that field.

The past few weeks, finding good shorts was about as hard as falling out of bed in the morning. But once the markets rebounded I became more selective. I have been buying long positions in companies I like during the fire sales throughout. One example was RMDY, a great value as it fell that I flipped for a tidy profit long today.

In a sideways market, playing both ways becomes more important. And in the long run, making money short is harder than following the overall trend.

I find it amusing when some folks plant themselves 150% in the long camp or the sort camp. It may be theologically correct to them, but the daily market we trade in offer profits coming and going.
