I also have Cuban friends and have observed that, consistently, they are hard working and extremely family oriented. Virtues that would be of value to many Americans to consider. The ones berating probably have zero first hand knowledge but just a bit of bias against those different from themselves. Frank

I used to agree with you until I saw just how much disrespect they have shown to a government who gave them favored status. Suddenly their abject refusal to speak English after 40 years has become extremely offensive to me. Their flying Cuban flags and disrespecting our American flag has destroyed 30 years of respect for me. The pathetic behavior of both the Mayors has made me ashamed of our leadership. I voted for one of them, never again, I can promise you that. This Elian/Castro obsession has brought division to Miami. That is poor payback to the Americans who welcomed the Cubans to America. Fred
