1. People have money to invest
2. Inevitable further interest rate increases will lessen the attractiveness of Old Economy stocks
3. No matter what business you are in, everyone sees continued escalation of spending on technology
4. People have been rightfully scared off (for now) from ridiculous investing in e-this and e-that
5. Despite their valuations and volatility, the pmcs's of the world ( and the brcm's, and jdsu's, etc.) represent the most desireable and rational choices.

I'm not trying to spook you into inaction, I just want to make clear that even at the "lower" levels there's always downside risk.

And even though PMCS may be one of the best and "safest" investments relative to other equities, that may mean it just bounces back first or most significantly in a recovery to former levels.

When everyone thought Japan was going to take over the world, the nikkei got to levels years ago it still hasn't recovered to today. (Yes, there are major differences, i have drunk enough koolaid to be convinced that we are at the beginning of global economic transformation driven by network enabled applications and sharing of information, I just hate euphoria without sober discussions of risks.)

I still would love to see the company add production capability outside of an earthquake/war zone.
