So why keep them? If they offer nothing - why keep them? I could see if you wanted to argue that having guns will deter violence but that can't be proven either since we DO have the right to carry guns and violence and crime still occur. I don't understand that point. Besides, if you read my posts, I am not looking to totally BAN guns. What I would like to see is more responsible controls to keep guns out of the hands of irresponsible people. I don't feel that right now we have that. It's ok if we don't agree :) Just don't dismiss my opinion and expect me to take up yours :) Regards, Peter J Strifas
