Spoken by a man with the insensibility to lose his house "betting" on a stock (if true) and then recently advocate buying on margin with VLNC just before it fell another 45+ % in the 20s. Everyone makes mistakes. At best fred is unable to learn. At worst, he is the target of drbailey's unwitting witch hunt.

"I would re-state this as follows:
One thing should be clear to anyone owning this stock, when positive news is announced, there will be a scramble for available stock as the shorts have over 4 million shares they have "borrowed" and must eventually pay back. With some positive news the stock price could quickly move to the $20's and those who are short might rush to cover before a return to the $30's."

You have a sad propensity for very expensive and highly speculative "couldas" and "mightas." And even that involves a rather large assumption that you are sincere and believe in the insensible statements you sow.

Well, Fred, I believe that if indeed your scenario evolves, I would be one of the first to buy back, even at higher prices, on a breakout. I have done it before, I see no reason not to do it again. Right now, however, reality is that the trend is down, everything else, is "wishful thinking".

Good luck
