Thanks winston, I sort of figured it the same way; I have wondered why PDL acts so weak in the face of these sky high prices. But let me ask you and anyone else - where in the world are there better deposits that can be developed quickly?

I keep reading zillions of threads looking for information regarding supplies of PGM's or new ore bodies and I can't find where there are any. I guess that is what puzzles me. The demand for PGM's seems to be large and the present and future supply seems to be small.

The only place where I can guess they might be able to dramatically increase supply would be South Africa, but I don't know that and havn't read anything to that effect. And last, what are their two top SA PGM companies doing in Sudbury anyway - they surely know the realities of both the geologly and production?

All I am saying is I don't see the quick fix to the PGM shortage and I don't see anything out there better than Sudbury. If there are answers to these two questions I sure don't know about them. You know Dines might be right!
