William, well you are back...i wouldn't even know except that i forgot to unbookmark you when you left...

first of all, if you've been getting private messages with the content that you mention, why would this be allowed around here ? is si spineless ? or have you just not reported it ?

second of all, you did bail at a particularly rough time in the market and lots of posters seem to look to you for advice, right ?

fwiw, i thought your leaving at that time was pretty cheesy. i only had six people bookmarked around here and four of them were on this thread, including YOU.

so, are you here or aren't you ? inquiring minds wanna know.

William...may I call you Billy? We've missed you.
Don't worry about me...worry about all the others here who have missed you.
With out you, this thread lacks character...welcome back.
Warm regards,
Your buddy HJ.

William,

Welcome back to your thread. I hope we can end the adolescent name-calling and move on to more substantive topics. It's amusing at times, like watching the testosterone battles that constantly erupt between Joe Kernan and David Faber, but it's such a waste of time and brings out the worst in both of you.

I thought we had made some progress last week when HJ agreed to stop making derogatory comments about you to others if you would do the same. I felt this was a good start and was surprised by your silence on this proposal. Could you please respond in some way? If you reject this idea, let's have a more constructive counterproposal.

Acrimony is corrosive to any intelligent discussion. I can understand how the inevitable tensions of participating in an extremely volatile tech sector causes anxiety, but this is not the time or place to relieve such tensions IMHO.

But it's up to you, William. You can make of this discussion whatever you want.

Sam
