"perhaps we should ask management"

The answer is "long term internet leverage", whatever that means.

"If the press reports of Corel financial condition are accurate (I assume they are) then this deal is off".

The ratio may be off but I am not sure the deal is yet off. I deeply suspect that Fuller/BOD will continue to try to push the deal through using every and all corporate dirty tricks behind closed doors.

Ultimately I am concerned with my INPR investment, and as long as the current BOD remains in power, deal or no deal I can clearly see a big capital loss on my book.

I see three hurdles to a capital gain with my INPR investment. Kill the deal is #1. #2 is to see the tails of the entire shameless BOD. #3 is to install a new mgt/BOD with a clear business agenda. At the present time, there is a possibility that the deal may be killed; it will be decided by the institutional shareholders. Regarding the mgt/BOD, I doubt very very much they will voluntarily resign in shame, deal or no deal. I think the institutional holders may engineer their disgraceful exit and have Coates installed as the executive Chairman, who does have an excellent business plan for INPR. The boys are not stupid; after Del and Dale I doubt they are going to rely on yet another mgt/BOD to make them money.

Anybody who knows anything at all about the computer industry knows that Corel/Cowpland and technology/brainpower are mutually exclusive. So, just what does this whole mess say about our Fuller/BOD >>> a bunch of F------ idiots perhaps!?
