You could be on to something here. I never put any kind of action except a little draw with the long irons and the woods. I am hitting those really, really well.

Maybe I have gotten too "hit" focused with this spin shot stuff. Trouble is I think I know this, but I still can't shake the swing program I have gotten stuck in. The "dead" hand pitches are fine, its just those with the wrist action.

What do you think about oversized or undersized grips. The reason I bring this up is that I recently went to a cord with a rib and think this is a bit smaller than my old grips. I rewrapped one of my irons with three tapes to make it thicker and I think I was hitting and releasing it cleaner. I am just not sure yet.

Thanks for the tips and hopefully these can help me find the root cause and fix it. It is driving me nuts (and cost me some cash too as I lost my bets today) and I now fear hitting a full pitch shot. This used to be the best part of my game.
