Interesting - I wonder what the questions are and how they are worded. It'll be real interesting to see how they define "understand." IMO a 6 year old cannot grasp the implications of asylum and if he did it would scare him to death.

Politicians of all stripes snuffling for brownie points in this are going to get a smartener-upper out of it, and i think that's a Very Good Thing. They may be encouraged to let the people live their lives, with their families intact, and leave the politics of violence where it belongs, on television and internet bulletin boards.
