Tef is correct, but so is UF. Ironically, for a stock that has produced so many losers recently, there are lots of winners in the contest...

The "ShTePreC" contest got its name from its full title: "Short-Term Prediction Contest." Over that short term the stock did indeed leap upward, and so whatever bizarre indicators Tef is using to divine such movements did seem to be accurate in this case. Still, UF and Merlin can feel entirely vindicated in their general assessment that it would take at least the merger and probably a couple more quarters for GMST's stock to begin what we all hope will be its steady and significant upward trend.

Course, nobody said anything about dropping into the '30s, so maybe Fleckenstein or Anthony@Pacific should get the real prize...
