Fundy, The plunge protection team is a myth, market manipulation is a myth, the market is a massive herd of people who decide one day to gap the market up on some news and decide to gap the same market down the next day on some other news. i have been given flack on this before, but the ppt and market manipulation is highly overrated, yes it can happen here or there, but can't change the major trends of the market. the bottom on 4/14 was not the ppt, but a selling exhaustion, as i posted there was a 95% down volume day on nasdaq, for the short term, everybody who wanted, or had to sell, had sold, thats why the markets rebounded, not the ppt. b
