If there is, in fact, a conference, it doesn't appear we'll get a bounce in the stock price given overall market conditions.

The nice thing about DRXR that keeps me in is that only its card has enough memory to handle all biometrics storage capacity requirements, and it appears biometrics is the next frontier in secure commerce identification systems. Lots of people surveyed very much prefer biometrics to password type systems since nothing has to be remembered.

There is indeed a big smartcard expo this week called "CardTech/SecurTech." I think it's the biggest show of the year for smartcard technology.

I personally think the most interesting release that came out this week wasn't from CardTech though. Microsoft issued this one:

Over the past several months, biometrics has really started picking up a head of steam. I think its time is coming.
