<How many Billions will QCOM be out if G fails> Not much at all. I can't recall outstanding debt by GLP to Q! Handsets are sold to service providers. Gateways were sold to service providers, though there might be a couple to be paid by GLP. System design was paid for and is in the books. Q! owns 6% of GLP but those shares were given as a founding company with Loral [I think]. Before GLP fails, there will be a rights offering and companies such as Vodafone, QUALCOMM, Loral and others will be invited to buy new stock. In that case the existing shareholders who don't participate would be diluted, but the share price already discounts major dilution. I can't see GLP becoming bankrupt. Creditors won't get within a bull's roar of owning the stock. Has the canary landed or just doing a fly-by? Maurice

Greg, According to the 12-31-99 10-K, QCOM has agreed to provide $500 million in vendor financing( for which the terms of $400 million are still being finalized) In return QCOM is expected to receive warrants. pages 6 & 7. What I still can't figure out is if QCOM could/would move all/or part of their OmniTracs usage to *G. As that part of QCOM's business continues to grow worldwide, wouldn't that be a very big cash flow add ? Thanks, Tony
