You will still be able to put in a 950, but it will have to be a classic Athlon (K75) and not the faster Thunderbird. But since you say you have a FIC SD-11 motherboard, which uses the AMD 750 northbridge, you may be able to use a Thunderbird if slockets (socket -> slot adapters) do end up being produced. But that is an uncertainty for now. We'll know a lot more in a month or so.
