One reason given for the NOVL decline is that Windows 2000 is effecting their revenues.

CPQ has a big investment in W2K being a success.

Therefore, NOVL's problems are a good sign for CPQ.

Is that a QED?

~~OT ~~ S M -- Yes,, ERIC is about twice as qualified at NOVL as EP was here,,, but you still are just talking about nothing,,, Rosen has done nothing for CPQ. The longer this debacle continues the more easily to see Ben has done nothing for CPQ,, who blames him? He is financially secure at a period of life that he should be doingwhat he wants-- and cpq is not on his list...

From 36 to 27 in 2 1/2 years is hardly doing great things for cpq shareholders.
