Also, note that VDSL = 52Mbps

Ultimately, nothing will beat fiber. Both cable and xDSL
architectures have the effect of bringing fiber closer to
the home. In this sense, cable and xDSL are transition
architectures, where the transition may last at least
two decades.

Even though I think wireless will play a big role,
I am far from persuaded that the future is 100% wireless.
I see more a mixed wired/wireless world.
