Steve, Tenchu made an error in reading a comment in the register.http://www.theregister.co.uk/000504-000024.html
and attributed it to a chip set error, but it seems to some kind of ring or? that will require some lead relayout. An irritating but minor problem, not as severe as caminogate since a minor trace re-route will solve it.

I never meant to say that Spitfire chipsets were going to be unstable. But there is the question of availability. Celeron chipsets and motherboards are abundant, and they also happen to be stable as well. Not only that, but they're also produced in high volumes and are rather cheap to manufacture.

Will Socket A boards be available by the time Duron is released? More importantly, will they still require an expensive six-layer design? Performance will no doubt be strong, but what about the cost?
