In fact, we could issue a thread survey!>> ah, the newbies... tracey, this cuts a bit too close to home, in the "been there, done that" sense. During the fall we had some major crises on the thread, including some attempted coups d'etat, and there were endless discussions about who should be posting, who felt what about the situation, etc. etc. It was out of that crisis that this thread was born (when cuf walked away in huf), and eventually the G&K options/trading thread later. (Only against that backdrop, by the way, can one appreciate the true significance--and humor--of the recent cuf/P/J threadleader coalition against edamo...) if you are interested in such ancient history, skim posts 9k-11k on the main thread, and/or the earliest ones here... ctb/A@talkaboutyourHolyWars.com
