To all: I wish someone could explain why this stock stays in the doldrums. Yes, I know the normal stories, ie merger in process and all, but I still dont understand it. Read an article today about Jack Grubman (popular telecom GURU) who likes WCOM and GBLX. Yet, we are trading at about 22 times 2000 earnings, have a rating of 1.28 (strong buy) by I believe 29 analysts (great coverage) with a indicated growth rate of AT LEAST 28% annually. In this world of overpriced stocks (or so some say) this is a giveaway price. What in the hell gives? I am torn between sitting pat or adding to my position, cant make up my mind. One thing I know, with all this coverage nothing is escaping the eye of the market, just escapes mine. JDN
