No. For some reasons an analyst only needs one correct call to be considered a guru for a decade. All the incorrect calls are conveniently forgotten. For example, look at Elaine Garzarelli (or however you spell her name).

On Monday, I expect that most of the broker's analysts will be coming to the defense of Cisco in regards to the Barrons article. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, will investors listen to Barrons or 20 some analysts who have a buy rating on the stock?
