Mark, I used internet explorer almost exclusively until reading a neoplanet review on zdnet about 6 months ago. I decided to give it a shot to help me analyze a java scripting display problem I was having building web sites. I've been a consistent happy customer since. I believe it is more stable than IE, and doesn't suffer from incompatibility problems like navigator does at times.

The neoplanet browser is so similar in functionality to internet explorer 5.0. the learning curve is almost non-existent.

The thing I like the most about it is a feature which underlines words. for instance, when viewing your post, the word neoplanet is underlined in yellow. This indicates some additional information can be had by clicking on the word. When you click, a small menu appears linking you to the neoplanet web-site or other information such as biographies in the case of names.

It also has a huge assortment of built in features. Such as, different skins, clubs, channel guides, and many more. A menu comes built in which is sort of like a search engine. It's different though, but hard to describe.

It's not a beta or anything. And the browser has been around quite a while. It also seems like pages come up quicker, but that could just be my perception.

I recommend you download it and take a look for yourself. It could be my eyes but pages seem brighter and clearer when I use it also.

Mike

I have an embarrassing problem. I'm running WIN 95 on a DELL XPS D300. My sound used to work correctly. Now I hear sound through RealPlayer, but if I go to someone's profile that has sound - I hear nothing!

I "think" in downloading RealPlayer Jukebox a while back, it asked if I wanted to make it the default sound and I said yes. Later I uninstalled Jukebox and the sound quit.

Today I finally found in RealPlayer that it is set to be my default sound --- but... it did not have a place for me to UN-SET it as default.

Where is the default sound set, and what should it be set to?

Thanks,

Peach
